This machine trims the featherbones, button bones and surrounding meat from the backbone after it has been removed from the loin. Product removed by the APBF is processed through a Baader or Selo machine to recapture the lean meat. This process saves an additional .23 lbs. of 80% lean meat per backbone. Capacity of this machine is approximately 1000 pieces per hour. |

Automated Pork Neckbone Feeder |
This machine was designed to eliminate the repetitive motion job of trimming neckbones with wizard knives. It removes both the featherbone and rib bone from the neckbone. These bones are then processed through a Baader or Selo to recalaim the lean. It's capacity is 1300 pieces per hour. The model APNF-RM when used in conjunction with the model ANBS does an excellent job on case ready neckbones. The machine cuts are safer and more uniform than manual sawing. |

This machine, when used in conjunction with the model APNF-RM, will process 100% of the neckbones as case-ready, value-added neckbones. This eliminates the hazardous job of manually sawing the neckbones with a bandsaw. Pictured is the two bladed machine. It is also available in a four bladed model. |
